Enerquip installed its first TRCM in the USA in 2023, at Upper Falls, Washington state. The client was Avista Corporation. We were contacted by ECRE, Eagle Creek Renewable Energy, regarding replacing their TRCM at Glen Park, New York.
ECRE owns and operates 86 hydropower plants in the US. The combined capacity is 620 MW. It was acquired by OPG, Ontario Power Generation, in January 2019. OPG owns and operates 66 hydropower plants in Ontario, Canada. In total, the installed capacity of OPG in Canada is 7,840 MW.
In January 2025, Enerquip installed its second TRCM on US soil. Glen Park is now using a Thor TRCM for cleaning their trash racks. There is a walking area behind the TRCM, hence the space for the TRCM is quite limited. In the case, our anchoring solution made the installation easy. There was no need for expanding the deck to accommodate the Thor TRCM.
The team at ECRE is very competent and forward-leaning. We are proud of that they went for a machine from Enerquip!
