SN Aboitiz Power is the Philippines leading provider of renewable energy. In 2019, the company ordered its first TRCM from Enerquip. It was Thor, our largest TRCM. Installation took place in 2020, and it has been running smoothly ever since. In 2024, the company decided to invest in another machine, including stop logs and trash racks, for Ambuklao HPP. The PO was issued in October 2024. Design of the stop logs, and trash racks was done by Norconsult.
The area where our Thor TRCM will be installed, is limited. Since we anchor our machines in the rails, and the gauge is only 1.5m, even for a big machine that goes down to clean at almost 30m, we have no problems in supplying a TRCM that fits in the limited space.
The manufacturing is almost complete, and the shipment will be sent from Eiken Mekaniske Verksted on 11th April. Shipping time is estimated to be 60 days, and installation will take place by mid-June, when the power plant is dewatered. Enerquip is looking forward to installing another top-notch machine in Philippines.
